Speak Life

I like this verse because it reminds me that we always have a choice about what we say to others (and to ourselves, too).

If we’re going to build a reputation on anything, doesn’t it make sense to start with the two key spiritual attributes (wisdom and kindness) listed in this verse? After all, who wants to be known for being foolish and rude, when we can instead speak life to those around us – and then watch in awe as the Holy Spirit works?

  1. Hallelujah my friend!!! Isn’t this the truth, on so many levels!!! Someone else mentioned this post, and it made me so happy because you create so much love and hope here. God bless you for speaking life to those around you! You are a blessing to more people than you will ever know, me included!

    1. You are too kind, Ian! I simply speak whatever the Lord puts on my heart each day. Truly, from one day to the next, I have no idea what I’m going to write until I sit down and start writing. My inspiration usually stems from a Bible verse that I’ve read recently, so the Holy Spirit gets all the credit for the Daily Hopeful blog!
