Faithful Hope

This verse from Hebrews 11 may be familiar to some of us, but I gained some new insights on the passage as I reflected on it today.

The thing that jumps out to me is the connection between faith and hope. In many respects, hope seems to be a precursor to greater faith, and we are tasked with being confident and trusting as we bring our concerns before the Lord. It doesn’t mean that God will always grant our requests, but I believe that the verse (and others like it) directs us to approach the Lord with confident faith. We must be sure of our hope! šŸŽˆ
