Courageous

What an important reminder to us all!

Life can be hard sometimes, but two paths sit before us: Life (hope) and death (fear/worry). I suppose the reason that this principle is taught in the Bible is because the Lord knows that we will encounter difficulty and hardship – things that might make us inclined to turn away from Him, rather than toward Him. So, the encouragement is for us to remain steadfast in His strength, come what may!

By the way, I came across a definition of courage that really spoke to me:

Mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand anger, fear, or difficulty.

Also, if you have a moment later this week, take a few minutes to look up the definition of the word “strength.” The word means a lot more than we may have originally realized, and may aid in the understanding of what the Lord is trying to teach of us through the seasons of life.

    1. Well, I suppose that the enemy is clever, but relative to God, he’s about as quick-witted as a dolphin is compared to the sun (he’s no dummy, but there is absolutely no comparison!!) ✝️☀️

Thanks, as always, for stopping by and sharing your thoughtful comments! 🙂
