The Search

Just a friendly reminder to us all that God is faithful! When we seek after Him with a pure and sincere heart, He responds to such faith (indeed, Jesus exemplified this perfectly when He walked the earth – whenever He saw evidence of great faith, He almost always remarked upon it).

Since the Lord does not change, what was true of His nature then – His inclination to respond to faith-filled dependence – is still true today, and will also ring true thousands of years from now as well. Indeed, we change (often on a moment-by-moment basis!), but God does not.

Anyway, this verse from the book of Lamentations encouraged my heart, so I thought that I would pass it along to you as well. Keep searching for the Lord 🔦 – He won’t let you down!

  1. Yes! Go often directs us to seek Him, to follow hard after Him, to WORK for it (ie, work out your own salvation). A parallel passage: Pr 2.3-5 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
