Good Terms

Desiderata by Max Ehrmann is one of my favorite poems, and today’s quote is a line from it.

”As far as possible” is a key phrase here. It may not always be possible to be on “good terms” with all people for an indeterminate season of our lives, but we can still experience peace (at a distance, admittedly) with others and within ourselves by maintaining healthy boundaries. Doing so is usually in everyone’s best interest, don’t you think?

But I digress.

I hope you get the chance to read the full poem at some point. While not explicitly Christian in origin or focus, important life wisdom can be found in its stanzas.

Blessings on your week! 🧡
