So I’m with Joshua: “As for me and my house, I will serve the Lord”. Whether your “house” is full of people or if it’s just you, may we always remember that we exist to honor the Lord and to advance His kingdom agenda — rather than our own.

Will you pray with me?

Lord in heaven (and everywhere else),

Help me to serve You with a clear mind, a surrendered heart, and a willing spirit, and to make this choice each and every day. Like Joshua, may I unashamedly declare that serving You is the primary goal and focus of my life.

In Your name I pray, amen.

    1. The Lord is good! I want to always be on the right side of our spiritual battle, even though such a place may be fraught with many challenges and inconveniences. Put another way, there is no place I’d rather be than squarely in the will of God! 🧡

  1. Yes! Yes!! I am hosting a youth conference in August themed unashamed. Your post just stirred up my spirit regarding that conference. About time we started declaring this publicly!!

      1. I think you said there was a backlog of people who were able to do the repairs in your area. Is that still the issue, or is your insurance company giving you any more trouble? I’m still praying for your mom and sister, by the way.

I am taking things one day at a time. I was in a small car accident on Friday, so have been resting at home. I have to be even more careful than usual about how much time I spend with technology, so thank you for your patience with me as I catch up on everything. 🧡

      2. Sorry if there was confusion. The insurance was resolved but there aren’t enough repairmen to do the repairs. The back log is on the waiting list side of things. We are waiting to even get estimates.

Sorry About your accident 😦 keep taking it easy. Listening to your body, it will tell you when you are better 🙂 No worries. I am playing catch up too. 🙂 hahaha

      3. Thank you for the update, Margaret! I will remain prayerful over the situation.

And you are right — I need to listen to my body. I felt much better yesterday, but I have some back pain today. So I have to take each day as it comes and continue to rest.
